Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Post-Credit Scene Revealed (Spoiler)

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has begun screening to the general public as well as received a so-far flawless Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%.

The credits include humorous bits and pieces throughout and a full-length scene is shown at the end. Please note that the following description of the scene includes spoilers for the film.

The scene opens with Miguel O’Hara (aka Spider-Man 2099) talking to his hologram assistant Lyla.

Lyla brings down the events from the film and tells Miguel that the multi-verse hasn’t collapsed.

She then hands him the prototype of a time-travelling device. Miguel takes it and travels back to 1967 – where he recreates the famous “pointing scene” from the original Spider-Man animated series, which by now has been used as an internet meme.

The two Spider-Men then argue who pointed first.

Miguel is voiced by Oscar Isaac and Lyla is voiced by Greta Lee, according to production notes.

In addition, the film will parody the famous Spider-Man 3 dance sequence and include People Get Up And Drive Your Funky Soul by James Brown.

The film’s credits will also include a tribute to Stan Lee, who has a cameo in the film. The tribute reads:

That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real SUPERHERO.  -Stan Lee
