Brie Larson Surprises Moviegoers in Clifton, NJ and Helps Out Concession Staff

Captain Marvel star Brie Larson visited the AMC in Clifton, New Jersey on the opening weekend of the film. There, she helped distribute popcorn at the concession stand and greeted moviegoers before a screening of the film.

“I won’t keep you very long because I’m sure you want to watch the movie,” said Larson before the show holding a fountain drink in a Captain Marvel-themed cup. The audience offered her to stay longer, but Larson refused. “You guys paid your money for this ticket, you got to see the movie. And watch like 18 minutes of trailers first.”

According to AMC, there are approximately 20 minutes of trailers and preshow material between the showtime and actual film, although that number tends to be less for events.
